Sharing the Table with Microsoft and PSC
To help encourage families to make the most of dinner time, PSC client Barilla USA is teaming up with country music star Martina McBride and renowned chef Mario Batali to launch "Share the Table: The Barilla Family Dinner Project" and is inviting American families to make a promise to enhance their dinnertime experiences at www.ShareTheTable.com. On the site, people can find more than 100 tips on how a dinner filled with robust conversation, meaningful interactions and flavorful food can better their lives. By registering online, people can discover how Mario and Martina share the table with their families; develop custom weekly dinner plans; download over 700 Barilla recipes as well as exclusive Mario Batali recipes; design custom place mats for their children’s dinner table; learn from family experts; share their own dinnertime stories and pictures with others and more.
PSC worked with Barilla to develop this site on top of a Microsoft SharePoint infrastructure utilizing a very customized graphical user interface. Using SharePoint allows Barilla to keep the site content fresh through-out the campaign with rapid development iterations. The site also integrates with Barilla’s corporate recipe system and hosted social media functionality from Bazaarvoice to allow users to interact with each other through product reviews and sharing their individual stories and experiences. Social Climbing
How can we be more social? Let's count the ways…Google, Skype, flickr, twitter, Facebook, Quickr, IM, Sametime, and the list goes on. What used to be the sole territory for the kids is rapidly becoming the next new thing for business. Oh, and let’s not forget the cool devices – iPhone, Blackberry, Pre and the Netbook. We hope you are onboard, engaged, and eager to learn. While you may not know which of the above is best for you, you can bet it will be at least one. We are only in the first inning, businesses are already finding ways to take advantage that they would never have expected. Social media (or should be say social climbing) is here to stay, a movement that cannot be stopped, a....well, you get the idea.

PSC has been invited to introduce our recently developed Sandler Training® Framework for MicrosoftDynamics CRM at Sandler's November conference in Baltimore, MD. This framework is a set of customizations designed and developed by PSC Group that can be plugged directly into Microsoft Dynamics CRM Online or On Premise versions. The framework is designed to be a tool for sales people trained in the Sandler Training System to manage the sales process more effectively using the Sandler sales methodology. The ability to utilize views and reports that are specific to the unique Sandler language and sales process makes this a very effective tool for sales managers and Sandler coaches as well.
